Few days earlier we learned that more than thousands of cricketers globally have registered themselves for IPL 2024. Since the required slots needed to be filled are relatively fewer it's evident that the list would be shortened and revealed soon. As expected, BCCI recently unveiled the list of players shortlisted for the IPL 2024 auction on December 19th in Dubai.

IPL 2024 Auction set to take place in Dubai - 19th December. 

Totally 333 players will be available for bidding among those, 214 are Indian players 119 are overseas and two players from associate nations. The wind this time will blow heavily towards bowlers as many teams will be looking for them.


There are 23 players listed with the highest reserve price of INR 2 Crore which includes 3 Indian Players and the rest of others being overseas players. However, 13 overseas players are available for the second highest base price of INR 1.5 Crore and 14 players for INR 1 Crore which includes the Namibian veteran, David Wiese.

Pat Cummins and Travis Head who will be available for this season. 

IPL 2024 will be spiced up with the return of Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Rishabh Pant who will be joining Delhi Capitals after injury. It's learned that Hazlewood will be not available for the first half of the IPL 2024 season as he's expecting to have a baby soon.

A diverse pool of 1,166 players, a blend of global icons and rising talents, has thrown their hats into the ring, ready to be part of the 10-team extravaganza.

Among them are 212 capped, 909 uncapped, and 45 Associate players, setting the stage for a competitive and dynamic auction.
