The Project IGI 2: Covert Strike PC game contains of 19 missions, and the story is displayed in cutscenes both in the beginning and ending of every mission. Players have certain objectives that must be completed before the mission ends. If you try facing the enemies directly, you'll end up failing, so it's highly recommended to sneak them stealthily. By moving stealthily, you will get a better rank and more chance of surviving from the enemies. Obviously, there are alternative paths in every mission so you could move as you wish but moving forward in open place will expose you.

In Project IGI 2: Covert Strike game the player is outnumbered with a lot of enemies in every mission, and he can only survive by operating covert. The player has an opportunity to bypass or sneak or undiscovered a big group of enemies in every mission. 

Even there are also certain tasks in which player should do everything covertly. However, the player can choose a difficulty level, change the limits of bullets that cause Jones to die, the intelligence of enemies and number of save game available at the beginning of the new game.
